It had been an interesting day for Bruce. After a night of patrolling and talking with Phoebe, who wore an outfit he rather appreciated even if he didn't let it exactly show, he had been hoping for a day of sleeping in and relaxing. Instead, he had been rudely awoken this morning by the alert in the Batmobile going off. At first it had been a bit worrying but then after seeing Dick's post, Bruce felt like banging his head repeatedly into a wall or desk. However, things had eventually worked out, they had talked and cleared some of the air and for that, he was grateful.
Going to his closet, he examined his growing supply of nicely made and expensive suits. It was no where near the amount he had at home, but the technological advances he had helped push forward for the medical community was starting to pay off and the money was starting to flow in. Some well placed investments were also paying off. In a few more months he'd easily reach multi-millionaire status. A far cry from being a billionaire like back home, but he wasn't too interested in fame or anything here. So long as he had the funds to work on recreating his crimefighting supplies, he would be happy.
I really should look into finding a Batcave here... he thought, selecting an Armani suit. Satisfied with its color, he took a quick shower and changed, grabbing a tie and quickly putting it on. After making sure he had everything he'd need, he moved down to where his newest car acquisition was parked and pulled the door to the Lamborghini up. Sliding into the driver seat, he shut the door and started it, grinning some at the purr of the engine. He pulled out and parked in front of the complex before sending a text to Phoebe to let her know he was out front.
If her manner of dressing last night was anything to go by, no doubt tonight she'd be equally stunning and he found himself a bit eager to see what she would be wearing.
