Leo smiled at Chris' agreement to tell him about himself. But his son's sudden jumping up to refill his coffee cup startled him and he blinked, watching the half-whitelighter. So, clearly Chris was nervous. But Leo was a bit grateful as it did give him a bit more time on what he could ask. No doubt there were some things Chris wouldn't tell him. Which was understandable. He was from the future. Messing with it too much could even negate Chris' existance on top of who knew what else.
Taking the refilled cup, Leo murmured a thanks and took a sip. "I know there's probably quite a number of things you can't tell me with disturbing the timeline. But...tell me a little about your childhood? Were you happy? Were we all happy as a family?" He tried to be specific but not so Chris could have his leeway in what he was allowed to say or not say.
He took another sip of his coffee before adding in a little more sugar, waiting for his son's response. Part of Leo was worried about the answers given what Piper had gone through from her point in time.
