Watching as she took her dog back, he smiled a little at her hesitance. "Lost?" Then he remembered her accent. Maybe she didn't speak English, that would explain the shyness and nightgown. She must have been the seal's latest victim. When she only looked to struggle more at his English he tried Russian. "Are you lost?" He wasn't trying to startle her, but he knew it wasn't every day that the average English speaker could just switch to a foreign language with seemingly little effort.
That wasn't entirely true though, it did take effort. Russian wasn't the easiest language for him and that was why Svetlana had been helping. He was improving but it was obvious he still had an American accent of his own. "You are in Kansas now. Specifically America. My name is Dick Grayson." He explained still in Russian and chewed his lip. It wasn't going to be easy to figure out a word for seal and evil demon apocalypse. Maybe he would take her to Svetlana and see if she could help. Yeah that was a plan.
"That happens a lot here, are you familiar with magic?" He tried his best. Dick really was not a fan of being the welcome wagon. It was hard enough in English knowing that you were not going to be that person's favorite the next day, but to also be potentially hated in Russian? That was a little bit worse.
