Myka wasn't certain what she had been expecting to hear when she asked Helena if something had happened, but finding out that they were fictional was definitely not on the list of possibilities. Oh, she knew that people were fictional here, there were all sorts here. But it still seemed that no one ever thought of it happening to them until it did. Still, she didn't really have time to process that right now, because whatever she'd been shown had upset Helena. Which meant it had something to do with Christina. That was the fastest way to upset the Victorian woman and oh how Myka wanted to shoot Moriarty for that.
Briefly glancing at the computer screen, she noted the titles of the recommended videos to watch as well as the one she had watched. And for some reason, a lot of them dealt with her as well. Right. Not the time to think about that.
Turning her attention back to Helena, Myka bit her lower lip in thought. While she was the one who could talk her down, that didn't mean she knew exactly what to do or say. She just had to see where the conversation went. And right now... all she knew was that Moriarty had started his game with Helena and who knew just where that would go. She knew that in the books, it had led to Sherlock's faked death. And Myka couldn't handle that. She couldn't handle the thought of Helena dead even if she wasn't and was faking it.
Right. Selfish thoughts. Not the time.
"We'll figure it out, okay? Claudia was able to hack into the Warehouse, she'll be able to locate him and he'll be brought down. I won't let him hurt you. It's mind games, Helena. That's what he does."
And then blew people up. But that was letting him near them and Claudia and Myka had already been playing bodyguard for Helena since Irene had told them of her idiocy, so it wasn't like Helena was going out alone.
"It's just.. not letting him get under your skin. I know it's hard, especially if he has ways of bringing things up to hurt you, but he's trying to upset you and get under your skin because he knows that's the fastest way to hurt someone. Hurt someone they care about and get into their heads. Physical wounds are easier to handle than the mental and emotional ones..."
