Kon had his arms behind his head as he lie there on the roof with his legs over the edge. The last thing he was expecting was company, but really in a world like theirs it should have been the first. There were dozens of super heroes there and honestly it should have made him feel better since for the longest time it was only him, but it only worried him more. There were lots of super heroes back home when he died too. What if them being here all lead up to the events that happened back home? He wouldn't make it through a third time.
Bart had said there was obviously a reason he was still alive even after dying twice, that the world still needed him. Still he worried. He'd been doing a lot of worrying lately and it was tiring. It took so much out of him it almost felt like his energy was just fading away before his eyes. He figured the sun would help, legend told that it was supposed to re energize Kryptonians. He was half Kryptonian, so he figured it was worth a try. There wasn't anything much worse than feeling as tired as he did right then.
His eyes had opened when Clark came into the picture and touched down to the roof near by, still Kon didn't move. He was just starting to get comfortable for the first time in days.
"I like high places. I used to hang out ontop of the silo back at the farm. Watch the sunrise and set." He sat up a little to look up at Clark. "Did I miss anything exciting?"
Chances were unlikely if Clark stayed in Kansas. Typically Kon went outside the city to help people. Kansas as generally pretty peaceful, especially with all the new capes in town.
