Who: Darcy A. and Helena What: Tea and talk! When: Early afternoon of April 8th Where: Darcy's new house Warning: Um...possible language? Otherwise low.
This talking thing was way out of Helena's comfort zone, but she felt good in reaching out and trying to genuinely make friends. She had a feeling Myka would be proud of her for taking the advice and reaching out to people. Now, she wasn't intending to spend the whole time today talking about such a heavy topic. But she would go wherever the conversation went. If that meant drifting to heavier topics, than so be it. Though Helena wasn't exactly sure just how far into the darker topics she wanted to get. She didn't want to make it seem like all she had to talk about were bad things, because that was so far from the truth. She had a great many other areas of interest to talk about, ones that weren't so heavy and dark. So she would try to make lighter conversation that her and Darcy could discuss and perhaps to grow a bit closer to each other over.
After getting to a certain point on the tracking device she was building, she set it aside and went to get herself ready to head off to Darcy's house. She was all ready dressed, so she simply brushed out her hair, put on the amulet to protect against possession and did some other minor hygienic things. After looking herself over and once more ensuring the locket with her daughter's picture was still around her neck, Helena grabbed her Farnsworth and Telsa, slipped them into her coat, and headed off. She gave a glance over to Myka's door before she took the stairs down. Elevators were fine, but Helena felt like getting her exercise in today. She made her way to Darcy's house, taking her time as she hadn't given a specific time of arrival other than early afternoon. And she certainly hoped that she'd arrive at a time after Darcy and her sons had had lunch. Not that Helena would feel weird if she arrived in the middle of such a thing, but she didn't like disrupting people.
Helena turned down Darcy's street and briefly wondered if she should pay a visit to Irene on the way back to the complex. But that would depend on what mood she was in after talking with Darcy. Helena all ready knew she needed to have a serious discussion with Myka, she just needed to be sure the agent was over the shock and everything before attempting to have it. Taking a breath and shaking her head, Helena walked up to Darcy's house and knocked on the door. It was rather becoming a trademark of hers to meet people and talk over tea. As she waited for Darcy to answer the door, Helena glanced around at the yard and the front of the house, taking in the scenery. She smiled gently, wondering about getting herself a house with time. She missed having space to spread out and having her hiding places for her inventions and such. Helena truly did hate the fact that she was so cramped and confined within her apartment in the complex despite having taken one of the larger, one bedroom ones.
