Rose had a great deal in common with her mother. Both of her parents had discovered this already. It was pretty easy to spot the traits that she shared with her mother, not as easy to spot the traits that she shared with her father, though. She was witty, she was the brightest witch from her year, she was dedicated to learning, and she was not one that wasted time or lolligagged around on her homework. She was a wonderful student. She was just enough of a mix of her mother and father that in class she didn't always come off as an insufferable know-it-all.
Either way, she was heading toward the biology room at the moment, mainly because the chemistry teacher that Rose had wanted her to pass on some things; the teacher needed to head home a bit earlier than she wanted to, fortunately the Weasley girl was happy to help. Rose was just enough of a teacher's pet that she didn't mind being asked to go talk to another teacher. The redhead had headed confidently out into the hall, her curls bouncing slightly. It had taken her a moment or two to get to the right room, but it hadn't been all that difficult to find in the least.
"Science faculty meeting next Friday, previous fieldtrip, and," Rose paused a moment and fished the note that the other teacher had given her to pass out out of her pocket," And note about personal meeting to discuss some things. I think I've got it all." She stated to herself, having checked off her entire mental list already, really. With that she opened the door, calling out, "Mrs. Evans?"
Now, what Rose was met with was definitely not what she had been expecting. She saw the woman....using magic? She was focusing awfully hard on a puddle that was on her desk, and it seemed to be working too. That was the interesting thing. Being a witch, Rose was used to Magic. What she wasn't as used to was the fact that this teacher was using magic without a wand. Sure there were instances where her mum had used wandless magic, but they weren't all that often. A wand was an important part of being a witch, actually. It was kind of wicked that she didn't need a wand, actually.
"Oh, my chemistry professor asked me to bring you this," Rose held up the note," And to tell you the meeting for the Science faculty has been moved to next Friday. And she wanted you to weigh in on a previously planned fieldtrip. I think she said one of the other professors is going to bring you some more information on it." She stated matter-of-factly. Then, she couldn't help but speak more," You use wandless magic? That's wicked."
