For a few minutes, she didn't move. She didn't speak. She just listened to him. This was what she had wanted when they were talking before she ended up in Kansas. She wanted reason, she wanted something that made sense, something that sounded like Leo. abandoning his family? That wasn't him. It just wasn't.

When he pulled her into his hold again, she wrapped her arms around him in return, clinging to him. She hid her face in his shoulder as she tried to regain her composure, get some kind of control over the tears that were still flowing. She needed to calm down, nothing was going to get resolved if she didn't do that, that was for certain.

She tilted her head up and looked at him, a sort of sad smile crossing her features. "I just wish he saw it like you do." she said softly before hiding her face again. If she had the choice right now, in this very moment to stay here forever or go home Piper wouldn't even want to go back.
