Piper didn't fight it when he circled his arms around her and pulled her into a hug. She couldn't. She didn't have it in her to fight it because right now, maybe this was exactly what she needed. she buried her face in his chest for a moment and tried to take what little comfort she could from this, but it was short-lived. She took in a soft, shaky breath when he pulled away, "You say that now, but you do. You are doing that right now."
"I know, she told me that too, but...is eventually supposed to make everything okay? Is that supposed to tide me over in the meantime?" She shook her head, "That's not going to work because back home, you're not. You're not stopping it, Leo, you're going through with it and you're leaving us!"
