Before Leo could even tell her to just start from the beginning, Piper was letting it out. And she would be right. None of it made sense. He had heard stories of the Titans. But the god powers Piper was talking about were forbidden to release. At least after the last debacle with them. But apparently he had released them to the sisters. Leo was grateful he had a vague idea of who Paige was. Otherwise he'd be really lost.
He listened as Piper told him that after saving the other Elders and whitelighters, he himself was becoming an Elder. He frowned. He would never do that...would he? Would he really abandon his family that way? When he saw Piper break down, he risked explosion by angry wife and pulled her into his arms. He held her and rubbed her back, trying his best to calm her down.
"I won't even pretend to understand why I'd ever leave my family in the future," he murmured finally. He pulled back some and looked at Piper, brushing some tears gently from her face. "Piper, I'm not ever going to leave you. I love you. I love that we eventually have three kids who seem to turn out amazing." He brushed some hair from her face, his own face serious. "I know I become an Elder in your time apparently, but it doesn't last. At least that's what Mel has told me. I clip my wings for you. For our family."
He let a slow breath out. "And she's right. If a choice ever comes down to either being a whitelighter or Elder and our family, I'm choosing our family Piper."
