Rose smiled brightly at the mention of a superpower. It wasn't like she hadn't met people like Clark Kent and Ironman (insert annoyed shudder with all things Tony Stark right there). She knew they existed. But she didn't recognize the brunette woman and couldn't take the chance that she was one of the displaced. It would make sense, though. Then again, hadn't she and the Doctor met strange and unique people every day?
It occurred to her a second after the woman touched her that it might not be her smartest move. She always had been too trusting. But really. What demon was doing some house decorating at an antiques shop? Still, best keep this little encounter to herself and not include her always too protective other half in it.
Speaking of said other half... Rose's eyes widened as she met the brunette's gaze. Okay, fine. She was impressed. Only those involved with the Seal would bother mentioning the Doctor. Clearly, any one who recognized her face would assume she was Billie Piper and not immediately jump to her fictional character. Rose herself. And with the exception of Ginny, she hadn't told anyone about their engagement yet. So, needless to say, Rose was impressed.
A smirking smile crossed her face as she nodded. "Well, I'm glad to know we're going to be happy, at least. And he's not a doctor, not a medical one or even one with a degree. That's the name he goes by." Her gaze dropped to the ground and she swallowed a bit harder than necessary at the girl's question, though. "I'm actually marrying the Tenth. And if you know what that all means, then you're certainly something special. You wouldn't happen to live at the apartment complex at [complex address], would you?"
