This was just another example of why Prue never wanted to go back home. She knew what awaited her there, and at least here, she could have everything she'd ever dreamed of having. Back home, all she had waiting for her was death and her sisters having to move on without her. And she wanted more than anything to always be there for them when they needed her. It was her job to take care of them, to help them when they needed it.
When Piper pulled back from the hug, Prue looked at her and took in a breath. "I know, honey. But I'm sure he still loves you." Reaching out, Prue lifted Piper's chin and she gave her a reassuring smile. "He's Leo, and he is your soulmate. He didn't just stop loving you, and I wish he could've told you why he did that, but whatever it is, it's not your fault. You are the best wife and mother in the world. It will get fixed. How, I don't know, but it will. Don't things always work out?" Well, things didn't always work out because Leo hadn't been able to bring Prue back to life, but in other situations, hadn't things always worked out?
