All right, so Prue needed a different tactic. Reaching out, she set her hands on Piper's shoulders and looked her in the eye. "Listen to me, Piper, you can't go home, not by your own choice. And believe me, I know you don't want to learn how to deal with this, I've been there. But you're here, this is real, and you can't run away from it. I know you have problems back home and I know you want to fix them, but you can't do anything about it. If you get sent back home, you can then deal with it, but right now I need to get you somewhere safe. Please, just trust me."
All right so Prue was half-begging, but she wasn't going to just let Piper try to run away from this when they couldn't. Piper was probably roughly the same age as Prue herself now was, which was odd, but it was better than having Phoebe be the same age as her. "Despite the rule changes, we still have innocents we need to protect here, and that's our job as the Charmed Ones, isn't it? Protecting the innocent?"
