Being alive was generally a good thing for River. It was a fact she tended to remind herself of occasionally considering she was dead in her own reality. But that was something she tried not to think about because it only upset her, and she rather liked being here with her Doctor, two other versions of the Doctor and other companions she had never been able to meet. And, of course, her father was here, which was reassuring. At Nico's reply, River chuckled a bit. "Ah, smart boy in not wanting to stunt your growth."
River watched him for his reaction to discovering he was in Kansas. It didn't seem to completely freak him out, which was a positive sign. But who knew how he'd react to learning how he got here, and why he was here. Hopefully he would take that just as well. And it would only solidify River taking him to the complex where he could stay. She could take him back to the TARDIS, but the Doctors might object to someone not from their own universe being in it. And Nico, as he said his name was, would undoubtedly rather have his own place.
"No, I'm not weirded out by that. I was brought here the same way as you. And the universe I come from, I was a time travel, so I'm used to going to different places and planets. But it was not simple teleportation or the like which brought you here."
