Once she'd adjusted to things, Gaia would make her gratitude known. But until then, she was going to feel like a fish out of water. But for now, Angel would just have to make do with the acceptance of his assistance. Closing her eyes for a few moments, she started to feel the opium starting to take effect. The sense of euphoria was beginning to take hold. Taking a deep breath, she let it out slowly, opened her eyes and looked back at Angel.
"English? No, I cannot say I have heard of that. Gratitude for the offer, it would prove most useful and helpful," she replied with a generous smile. Gaia was starting to get a slightly glazed-look to her dark eyes, an effect of the euphoria she was starting to feel. "So tell me, Angel, other than fighting in this apparent war, what do you do? You know, for fun." It was just like Gaia to go straight to the heart of getting to know what there was for fun around here. She did not like things being so serious all the time, and she'd really need to be able to replenish her opium at some point along the way. It wouldn't hurt to get started on this as soon as possible.
