At the mention of war, Gaia wasn't exactly surprised. After all, there was always talk of fighting and such in Rome. She'd heard many tales of the battles in the barbarian lands. She'd just never imagined herself being anywhere near war, let alone being in one. While she mostly followed the war track, as soon as the magic portal was mentioned, Gaia got a bit of a blank look in her dark eyes.
"Magical portal. So what, some conjurer made this portal and plucks unsuspecting people from their own lives and puts them here leaving them feel like they have just been fucked hard and left in the street?" It was a crude way of putting it, but Gaia did have a fowl mouth sometimes, and the language seemed appropriate at the moment. "I cannot deny that it actually happened because this building is not of Roman origin, and it is far too sophisticated to be in the unconquered lands. But still, a fucking magical portal? And is there some reason we are here? I am no soldier so I do not see why I would be here."
