"This is America, have you heard of it? We're in Lawrence, Kansas to be more specific." Angel wasn't sure if she would know what he was talking about or not, but it was worth a shot. If she didn't, he had a lot more explaining to do than with the usual newly displaced person. Not that Angel minded. It was sort of his 'thing', helping people. That was the Angel Investigations slogan, after all, helping the helpless, and at the moment, he was quite sure she fell directly into that category.

"This isn't a dream realm," he assured her, shaking his head. "Where are you from and what's the last thing you remember before you were here?" That may or may not help him, but it was better to have that sort of knowledge anyway. He needed anything he could get from her first. He'd much rather have some kind of information about her before he dove directly into the full-blown Welcome to the Apocalypse speech. It was not an easy speech for most people to hear.
