With a sigh, Rikki closed the laptop and moved to the door of her apartment. Fine, if Ron Weasley wanted to feel special, so be it. Rikki wasn't normally the type to try to impress, but it was Ron Weasley, for God's sake. How often would she get to make that sort of impression on one of her favorite fictional characters live and in the flesh? It was one person. She could willingly tell one person, couldn't she? Emma wasn't here to tell her no, after all, and people here were all freaks. ...and Ron was a wizard. A storybook wizard.

She made her way to the elevators and then up to the swimming pool. Here was to hoping that Ron was strong enough to pull her back out again. Although, she supposed, if he wasn't, she could send him off to get Galen to help. It wasn't Rikki's favorite thing, letting people see her in mermaid form. It was always a waiting game to see if they'd sell her out. But, at the same time, she'd opened her big fat mouth and offered to help Ron out of that stupid bubble, so she'd sort of done it to herself this time. How weird could he possibly think she was, really, all things considered?

Once on the pool deck, Rikki waited patiently. Well, not patiently. "About time," she announced, when Ron finally showed. "Shut the door?" she asked.
