She let out a chuckle at that and nodded her head. "It sure does" She was glad she had taken out the trash that night or she never would have met Ava. At first, when they met at the museum, she wasn't too sure about the girl she had Tess' face and frankly, at that moment, she wasn't a Tess fan in the slightest. After she found her in the alley and they got to talking, though, she realized the girl wasn't all that bad. She had completely misjudged her just because of the face she had. It was a nice reminder that you should never judge a book by it's over.
"Wow you've lost ten years! That's pretty crazy" She commented as she sat back, tucking some hair behind her ears. Back in the year Ava came from, she and Max had been married for a year and living in Pennsylvania. She remembered that time like it was just yesterday. "I'm afraid it is and it may seem safe ... but there's alot of danger out there. I'm not talking New York City muggers danger but supernatural. There are demons, vampires and all sorts of other things around here. It's like one crazy mesh pot of weird. I'm glad you're here with me now so I'm not the only one walking around with alien powers coursing through me" Ava would know what she was talking about as she was the first one that told her Max had changed her.
