"I know it doesn't prove I'm brave. I'm just a human after all who travels time and space with an alien in a blue box," he admitted. He watched her until she moved behind him. He gripped the taser a bit tighter but made no move as she spoke.
"I'm not smart or ingenious. Never claimed to be." He ignored her crack about his not being useful. "You're right, I probably wouldn't stand a chance against you in a fight. Which is why I've not picked one. Merely conversing." He turned slowly and looked at her. "So what now? We go our separate ways?"
