Katherine was in a less than stellar mood at that moment. Tony's blankpost to her had unsettled her, but she thought maybe she was jumping to conclusions. She'd been living on the run, on the defensive, for so long now it came very naturally to her to assume things were at their worst. However, one quick little conversation later, her fears were confirmed. He'd slipped. Said something to some friend from back home that had tipped her off. He'd mentioned before that people were already getting suspicious, so this was not helping matters at all.
She tried sitting on the bed while she waited, and eventually moved to the couch in the living room. Sitting still wasn't working. She had too much angry energy running through her at that moment to sit still. She wasn't the type to wait, either. Waiting on him was driving her crazy.
And then the knock came.
Before he even had the last knock completed, she was at the door, opening it and pulling Tony inside. Door slammed shut, Tony slammed against it. "Do you have any vervain?" She asked, her face inches from his own. She wasn't hiding her anger. He needed to see that his actions had consequences.
