Giving Anna a sad smile, Izzy moved her hand to scratch the wolf behind her ears before stroking her head gently. The body language of the wolf as she padded away made Izzy's smile fade away entirely. She was either tired, sore, or both. Izzy felt really badly about that, but there was little she could do. She watched as Anna curled up in a corner.
"Hey...I gotta go for a little bit and help the others," she said apologetically. "I won't stay away too long...I'll come back and check on you. I'll see if I can find you something to eat, too, because you can't talk and I don't know when you last ate. Hang in there, okay?" she asked softly, brow knit with concern.
At that, Izzy turned away and started back out of the locker room, not really wanting to leave Anna there, but knowing she needed to check in with Dr. Dunham to see if she needed any help.
