The comment about being a Boy Scout earned a chuckle from him. "I'm no Boy Scout. But my boss tends to try and smack sense into me if I'm not being observant. After six, nearly seven years it's finally working," he said, joking at his own expense. Well, it was true, but Katherine didn't need to know that. Not yet at least. If ever.
At Katherine's voice and her hands running over his chest, he was suddenly very aware of how pleasant Katherine smelled and how her touch was making him react. But now he was prepared for it so he didn't pull away. "Let loose you say," he said, his voice matching her husky tone. "And just what sort of letting loose are we talking about? Painting the town red or just this room?" His hand moved to tilt her chin up and he leaned down to kiss her, completely oblivious to the danger he had put himself in.
