"I never said that," he returned. As if to prove his point he sat closer to her and smiled. "It just seemed a shame to let this champagne go to waste is all," he said suavely. "Especially in the company of such a beautiful woman." He smiled and reached out, gently brushing some hair from her face. "I'd be a complete moron to not want to have a little fun with you. A beautiful woman such as yourself. Any man would be lucky to be in my position."
He took another sip of his drink before setting it to the side. "Though I'll admit, I'm not all that use to women being so forward with me. Usually I'm the one who has to do the chasing." He had noticed the pout and knew that his pulling away before hadn't been what she had been going for. Still, it had caught him off guard but now that he knew she wanted some fun with him, he was prepared.
"And I promise to do my best to keep up with you Katherine. Something tells me you could be worth it."
