Even in her chaotic state of mind, Althea could feel River's time stream coming to her. The familiar one. Not the young one who had been around the week previous. The one who didn't know what to make of her. She had been nice, and didn't seem even that shocked by who she was. But she wasn't her River. She wasn't the River who had always been there. Just like the Doctors weren't the ones who knew her and knew what she had been through. They were all her father, Eleven the most, and he reminded her of the father she had known even in the darkest of times before he died. But they were all so young with so many different paths in front of them.
Althea didn't even hear the knock at the door, but she did jump when she heard her name spoken by the familiar voice in the familiar tone from soon after River had saved her. Her room was in shambles from her break downs over the past week, there were strings attached to walls as she tried to map the course that was going to happen from each change. There were strings on the floor, everywhere and she was in the middle, with different pieces of paper to state the change and reaction that would happen.
Spinning as she wasn't alone, Althea blinked and rubbed her right arm, smearing the blood from her scratching along her forearm, shifting her weight some. She knew that River didn't want to hear her theories on how she could go through with the sacrifice. She knew that River didn't want to know what she was planning because then she would have to stop it. Because she would want to destroy the Master and Romana for what they would bring upon them all in their idiocy and insanity.
"The stars are battling.... they don't know who will win. The screams are very loud and the singing is being drowned out right now but before the singing was louder."
Pressing her lips together, Althea started to pace all over again, tugging on a string as another change happened that ruined that time stream all together.
"And the chord diminishes into A seventh minor...."
