James was turning with the package of baloney and some ketchup in his hand when he nearly collided with a small girl. Well, she was smaller than he was in size. Thought that wasn't the first thing he thought about. He startled slightly. Frowning at her, bizarre that. Sneaking up on a body in that manner. "Where the bloody hell did you come from?" He demanded. Though his features melted from his frown to a look of curiosity.
She was just a little girl. Nothing to be afraid of. And while James knew better than to let his guard down around a small, innocent little girl (something he was STILL learning the hard way, even though Lily Luna was his sister), he relaxed slightly as he edged towards the table to put the stuff down. Still, his eyes remained on her. He might be learning the har way but he wasn't stupid. No way was he risking some prank thrown at his back. Better to see it coming and to duck it.
While watching her and putting the food down, James noticed what was in her hand. "What's that for? Planning on writing something?"
