Entry tags:boone carlyle, katherine pierce

Who: Katherine and future!Boone
What: Meeting up, story telling, and who knows!
When: Thursday evening [2-16-12]
Where: Some hotel room that Katherine compelled for them. Because that's her new favorite thing to do.
Rating/Status: TBD/In progress

Katherine wasn't entirely sure what to make of all these future people popping up everywhere, it was a little weird, even for Lawrence and the seal. Then again, she couldn't remember the last time anything in her existence had been what you could call normal, so maybe it wasn't so crazy after all. There was a definite part of her that was the tiniest bit jealous about all the kids running around. She knew she'd never have another one and her daughter had been ripped away from her before she had even had a chance to hold her. That day, more than any other, was crystal clear in her mind.

She let out a soft growl as she pushed herself up from the bed, shaking her head as she walked into the bathroom of the hotel room she'd compeled for herself and Boone. She had to keep her mind off of those sorts of things. Dwelling didn't do anyone any good, right? She couldn't change the past, and her daughter would have been long-since gone by now anyway, so maybe it was better this way. Or maybe she wouldn't still be around if she'd been able to-- "Stop it," she muttered under her breath, shaking her head again. This was just stupid.

She grabbed the brush off the counter and pulled it through her hair, staring at the wall, completely ignoring any thought about the past that tried to push it's way back through to the front of her mind. Katherine no idea what to expect when Boone got here, but she was quite curious as to what kind of explanations about the future (or at least the future he was from) that he had. The possibilities were endless and she was ready to hear what he had to say.

There had been a time in Boone's life before Shannon died that he hated the likes of Katherine. Well, mostly he tried to ignore the fact that vampires existed at all and keep his sister safe, but that time was long gone. When Shannon died Boone's entire life fell a part. They had been doing well... really well for the first time in their lives or that's what Boone told himself anyway. Shannon had been teaching ballet again and Boone was helping Darcy out with her household. When weird things happened they stayed out of it. It was the life Boone had always wanted, one with Shannon and without their parents. It was perfect.. until she died.

And it was humans who did it. Boone hadn't thought he was capable of the kind of hatred that he held inside of himself now, but humans had killed his sister and so he didn't want anything to do with them. It was Lucifer's promise to bring her back to him that kept him going. Well, that and Katherine's promise to turn him. Without Shannon there was no life for him and once Shannon came back he could turn her too so they could live together forever in complete happiness. Plus, those pesky morals wouldn't keep them from being together in the way that Boone had always dreamed about. He wanted Shannon and he wanted her for his own.

Sure, Katherine didn't seem to know Boone, but that didn't bother him. He had no doubt that he could get her to like him all over again. The fact that he had Damon's face helped. She liked that face. So, Boone made sure his hair was properly done and the eyeliner was still in place before going to pay her a visit, but it wasn't too long before he knocked on her door.

"It's me," he told the door, leaning against the frame. "Boone. Open up."

Katherine smirked when she heard him on the other side of the door and pushed herself up to cross the short distance to open the door, "Well, hi there." She was a little shocked when she really took him in. Sure, he had Damon's face, but he wasn't Damon. Not that anyone would have been able to tell just by looking at him in that moment.

"So," she turned her back to him, walking back inside the room. A moment later, she spun back to face him again, "you want to tell me a little more about this future you're from? I'm curious." She watched him, not quite sure what to expect in whatever he may divulge. Everyone was taking this 'time breaking' thing far too seriously as far as she was concerned. The future was changed by them being here, there was no point in all the worrying over dishing the details because it was changing more and more every day they were here.

That was the same Katherine Boone knew all too well, making him chase after her. He came inside the room and closed the door behind him only to find that she had turned back to watch him and demand answers. He only smirked in response, closing the distance between them with those puppy dog eyes that only Boone knew how to conquer so well.

"Aw, come on. Talking is so boring," he told her, moving to brush some of Katherine's hair away from her face. "Wouldn't you rather do something..." he shrugged, feigning innocence. ".. a little more physical?" Not that Boone cared about messing up the timeline because he didn't. People could bitch and moan all they wanted about the timeline and how none of the people from the future should say anything, but Boone wasn't going to listen. Everything he had ever cared about had been taken from him. He had nothing to lose.

She watched him curiously. This was new for her. She didn't know the Boone of this time, but this Boone? He knew her, and it seemed he knew her well. That put her at a slight disadvantage, but she wasn't all that worried about it because ultimately, there was nothing he could do to her that she couldn't easily counter.

A smirk slid easier over her lips as he brushed her hair away from her face and made that little suggestion, "Well, that depends," She said, tipping her head slightly to look at him, "What exactly did you have in mind?" She could play coy with the best of them.

Oh, Katherine loved to play coy and hard to get. Boone knew that well enough. Part of the thrill for her was in the chase, in being wanted and Boone did want her. He wanted her badly, but he couldn't help the smile that spread out across his lips when she played like she didn't know what he meant. Boone could play hard to get too and he liked Katherine's pout as much as she liked his.

Boone shrugged and pushed past Katherine, making his way towards the kitchen where he could get something to drink. It would probably be mostly blood, but maybe he would get lucky and find some alcohol. "It's a shame you don't remember anything," Boone said. "We were good together... practically a team."

Her eyebrows shot up when he pushed past her towards the kitchen. Did he really just... She spun slowly to face him, watching him curiously. He definitely had her attention, that was for damn sure. "Really?" she almost scoffed at that idea, "A team? Even with practically in front of it...that doesn't sound like me." She didn't doubt him, he had no reason to lie to her, it just sounded strange to think of herself teaming up with anyone, really.

She moved into the kitchen with him, sliding herself up to sit on the ridiculously small counter provided. "How good is good, exactly?" She couldn't contain her curiosity and she didn't see the point in trying. "I'm still trying to figure this out, I mean, I haven't even talked to you here so far...although I'm thinking maybe after this whole future thing is done with, I might need to, maybe I could get a jump start on this...great team you're talking about."
