Finally, Cersei's plan was coming into fruition. Robert Baratheon was dead, Ned Stark was in prison and the throne belonged to her son. She couldn't have asked for more. Well, she could seeing as how she would have liked herself to be the one true ruling Queen, but ruling through her son would have to be good enough. Cersei didn't understand why women were not allowed to rule. Men were as useless as nipples on a breastplate to her. They were a means to an end. No man except Jaime was deserving of her.
All of this Cersei had planned meticulously and greedily, but what she didn't plan for was showing up in a mysterious place where literally nothing was familiar to her, not even the language. There were shiny buildings and carriages that didn't need a horse to move. The streets were made of black rock and the people were dressed strangely. Women actually wore pants or short skirts, while the men wore... well, she wasn't really sure how to explain the strange dress. Everything was new to Cersei and she had no idea what to do. She spent the first hour in Kansas completely panicking and speaking to anyone who would dare speak to her and what she surmised was that this wasn't the place or the time she had just been in.
Eventually, after demanding some answers from a poor girl on the street, Cersei was directed to a cafe with something called "the internet". She didn't know what it was, but if it had answers she wanted to see it. The man that worked in the coffee shop looked confused when he saw Cersei, but managed to show her how to work the internet and most of the keyboard. At least the letters were familiar even if she didn't understand the technology completely. It wasn't long before Cersei had accidentally posted on the board and Jaime responded. Oh, sweet Jaime. She couldn't think of a better person to help her with whatever was going on. He was the only person in the entire world she trusted completely besides herself. He would know what was going on and he would be able fix it, send them back to where they came from and away from this strange place.
When she was done with the internet and only had time to kill until Jaime found her, she ordered a glass of wine and sat down at a table. She felt like all of the wine in the world wasn't going to make any of this make any amount of sense, but it was worth a shot.
