That sealed it, her comment about about being two parts. Now Irene was determined to ensure those two halves came together at some point - no pun intended, even if it was a delicious one. There was no need for a reply to such a comment though, so she simply smiled, a promise that they would indeed form one whole, eventually.
"Please do. And I may just take you up on that offer." Whilst Helena's gaze was on her she watched her sit back, her eyes roving up and down for just a moment in enjoyment. Really, she was a wonder. As beautiful and intelligent as Irene was, which, to blow her own trumpet, was a very rare occurrence. "Oh, no doubt there would be many. Tell me..." she paused, a slight smirk spreading across her face "would you be one of them?" Taking a sip of her tea she also sat back, one eyebrow raised, awaiting a reply with more interest than usual.
