Irene watched Helena's movements with pleasure. This encounter was definitely worth dismissing her previous appointment for. She had a feeling that Helena would not be as malleable as that man had been, but that was part of the attraction really - she did love a challenge. And if the challenge was a stunning, intelligent woman? All the better.
"Very true. So tell me, Ms Wells, how many mysteries do you have to uncover? Because I have to admit, I would have no issue dedicating some time to explore them..." She picked up her own tea and drank from it slowly, watching Helena over the lip of the cup, a sultry look on her face. The Woman had decided she wanted the individual in front of her, and she got what she wanted.
The complex had definitely been contrary to Irene's tastes. But the house that Jim provided was definitely her style, and she had a feeling Ms Wells would also approve. "I do indeed. You are more than welcome to visit, if you wish to get away from the complex at any point - I found it hard to think there, so surrounded by people. Even if they were a room or two away from me." Pausing to eat a mouthful of cake she smiled smugly. "And, of course, living there wouldn't exactly suit my lifestyle."
