Nodding, Helena thought that was the best path. It was why she tended to study a little bit of everything she could get her hands on. "A very wise stance, if I do say so myself. One cannot simply put every human being into one box or one way of thinking. We are a far more diverse people than that." Obviously there would always be people who tried to force everyone else into a box, but Helena wasn't one of them. She had a more open mind than that. When she was in her right mind, of course. If something was upsetting her, all bets were off.
Oh this was positively delightful. Helena had not foreseen this revelation. And her fascination only grew, and she hung on each of Miss Adler's words as though her life depended on them. "I am very pleased to know one now." Her smile only widened. Then at the last bit, a twinkle entered her eyes and her smile took on a more sensual undertone. "Women are by far more pleasing. Men are well enough for their purpose, but I do find them tiresome too quickly. Women, however, are far more intriguing." Helena definitely did not always favor men, she had, in fact, grown tired of the men she'd gotten involved with turning against her in the end. The only good thing a man ever did for her was give her her precious Christina.
"I shall remember this place when I am in need of a good cup of tea." She took another bite of her cake. "This is indeed an excellent find! The chocolate and tea hit the spot." It was rather like being back home. Nevermind the fact Helena hadn't really been home in over one hundred years, save for the quick trip back soon after she'd been debronzed. This would be an excellent place to come and do some work some days. Nothing helped her focus like a good cup of tea.
