"Generally I collaborate. No one person can be wholly correct when it comes to the human mind, it would be foolish to only consider a single person or school superior to others." She blinked slightly, surprised at herself. It had been some time since she'd considered such things.
Irene nodded. "Disarm, but not control, I understand. Again, not much good to me then; I do prefer to be the one in the drivers seat."
Watching Helena's obvious fascination as she elaborated on her line of employment Adler couldn't help but smile. She was more than a little glad that Ms Wells was so open to the idea. "Well, you know one now. And Venus in Furs is a delectable book, I considered it practically an instruction manual in my formative years. Although I'm not as found of men as the antagonistic Venus, I've always found woman much more pleasing. Still, both can be very interesting clients, in their own way." Irene had the feeling that Helena was not always a man favouring lady, and that finishing remark should clarify her suspicions nicely.
Picking up her own tea she nodded in agreement. "This place is one of the few decent tea serving establishments in Lawrence, although I hadn't sampled their cake until now" delicately removing a small piece of her sponge and sampling it. "It really is! I am more than pleasantly surprised, I will freely admit!"
