Who: Rei and OTA What: Some days were better than others, so venting through working out is a good thing. When: About 7 pm this evening Where: Complex gym Warning: Pretty low, though it depends on who else shows up
It was hard enough trying to find some niche to fit into at school without having bullies on her back all the time. Sadly, being bullied wasn't new to Rei. She'd experienced it more times than she could count back home. Rei really wanted to know what it was about her that just drew people to pick on her. Was it the fact she tended to be quiet more often than not? Did she give off weird vibes? Really, what was it here that made her get picked on? She well knew back home it was because she was a practicing Shinto priestess who attended a private girls school, but here? Well okay, it probably was because she was foreign and English wasn't exactly her strong point sometimes. But that didn't explain why Minako seemed to be making friends left and right without even trying and she was always the odd one out, except when Minako sat with her.
She'd finished her homework, and had debated going out on patrol alone, but figured she'd only end up burning someone to a crisp, and she wasn't wanting to kill someone. So instead, she decided to make use of the gym and work on her hand-to-hand combat skills. After all, a punching bag did have several uses. This was one of them. It would allow her to vent because she didn't really talk about it with Minako after today's bullying session happened. What was there to say? Rei wasn't the type to complain, and there wasn't anything she could do about it anyways. So she'd just take her frustrations out in working out. Making her way down to the gym, she stepped in and glanced around, not seeing anyone else in there at the moment. She moved away from the door, and took a breath.
"Mars Power...Make Up!!" She transformed into Sailor Mars. She probably shouldn't be so secretive about being a soldier, but she wasn't used to just telling people she was sworn to protect the Earth and that she was really from the Moon Kingdom. She glanced down at herself, not for the first time wondering why on Earth she had high heels in her henshin, but she'd never turned her ankle or anything in battle, so she should take that. She closed her eyes for a moment, centering herself, then she opened them again and did a couple cartwheels, moving closer to the punching bag. She started to unleash a barrage of punches and kicks, doing her best to unleash her frustrations while at the same time trying to hone her skills. This was killing two birds with one stone, really. So only good could come from it.
