"I didn't plan on taking any of it anyway," Sam said, frowning at the room. He didn't think there was anyone out there who would want to really take away the clothes that the woman had here. Maybe more older people, sure, but Chloe didn't look like the type of lady who wore the stuff that the lady that lived here did. It was better that they kept it all intact in case she came back and needed to get her stuff.
Sam noticed that Ruby was sort of closer to him than most girls would normally choose to be. He awkwardly tugged at his collar and stepped in front of her just a bit, almost protectively. "Yeah, what she said. I think we'd better get moving as quickly as possible. I don't wanna...I just want to make sure that we're safe." Her, surprisingly, more than himself. Hopefully Chloe would be able to get them there all right.
Sam looked back at Ruby and smiled gently. "We're gonna be fine now."
