Fearing him probably was the wise move but it intrigued him that she didn't. Instead she'd dressed up and she'd gotten in a car with no one to tell if he had decided to kill her. Would they have just thought that the seal snatched her up again. What had her angle been? He didn't know that just yet but he'd work it out, he always found a way to work things like that out.
And there she went trying to work him out. "Of course I do, doesn't everyone Life would be so boring if there were no challenges. You do as well though don't you. Maybe not just mentally, but you like a good chase. You secretly love it when they run, because when they run its just you and them and the hunt. And its down to you then isn't it. And of course you haven't found that challenge here yet. Oh you could be a demon hunter but that's not the same. Those odds aren't in your favour, you can't compete with their powers, not really. And because you can't you want to focus on ordinary criminals out on the streets. You're probably gonna wind up taking down some of my people. That'll be delightful!"
And he meant it, if they were stupid enough to let a Bounty Hunter take them in then it was their own fault, he didn't need them.
She'd liked the roses. Of course she did. "They are, aren't they? And just perfect for you, don't you think. Now go ahead and pick a wine for us, do you know wine? I always think its important to know a good wine or two. Oh and consider the duck for your main. They make it just perfectly." He watched her with the roses as he spoke, all intense gaze and idle curiosity. Would she figure out why? Or would she assume that was too unlikely for him.
