More than a few times, Elphaba had tried to understand how the seal worked. But it seemed that not even those native to this place knew how they worked. So all she could do was form her own hypothesis. Whether it was correct or not was another matter, but it could definitely be headache inducing if one thought about it too long. So she'd stopped focusing energy on that topic, and just went with whatever came through it.
"I can probably re-write the spell now, knowing aspects of other magics I've encountered here. I just haven't actually done that yet." She should really get around to doing that one of these days so she could stay out in public longer without worrying about having to go into a restroom and casting the spell again. Elphaba listened as Claudia explained about her brother. "Did you manage to save him?" She hoped she'd been able to. Elphaba well knew what it felt like to want to save a sibling, what it felt like to move the entire world if it meant saving them.
