This time around, Luke would definitely be the helping type. That is, once he was healed enough to exert himself. Right now, walking the short distance to the living room and the bathroom was about as much as he could take. But he was getting better day by day. But until he was physically ready to get in on the fighting, he would contribute mentally. He could still help plan tactics if needed, he just wasn't yet ready to fight.
As he laid there, he heard Leia's voice and Anakin's soft response. His nephew did intrigue him. The boy was quiet, but he didn't mind that. No doubt Anakin was bright. Leia's child could be no less in that respect. He smiled gently then shifted slowly on the bed, moving to an upright position. It took him a minute to get to said upright position so he didn't aggravate anything, but once he made it, he sat there on the edge of his bed, glancing over to his open door.
"You don't need to hover outside the door, you know. You can come in," Luke invited both Anakin and Leia. Not to mention he had said so to Anakin before, but it was undoubtedly just a matter of Anakin getting used to Luke being there. He had no memory of having been there before, but he knew it would undoubtedly take a little time for the boy to adjust just as it would take him time to adjust to the family he had there. It was certainly a lot like having an instant family, but Luke was okay with this. Well, he was uneasy with Jacen, but that sort of went without saying. Even without knowing who this Mara was, Luke could sense Jacen's Force presence was darker, more intense than the others he felt. It unnerved him a little, but he wasn't going to dwell on that. Instead, he was going to focus on the nephew that liked hovering outside the door of his room.
