Galen had seen the crackle of the lightning but he held his ground. His hand twitched some towards his saber to block it but the electricity did not strike him. His eyes never left Jacen's form even though his short hair on his head was standing up from how close he was. He listened to what Jacen said and showed nothing but the confidence and intent to listen that he felt.
"I have used it when I fought. Indiscriminantely. No one though was there to judge me if I used it though. Not until the Death Star. But I never found out if they approved or not. I don't think I ever will, seeing as how I'm to die there when I return."
He nodded. "I called on the lightning. I had no qualms in cutting the airways off of those that stood in my path, of dropping them from great heights for the greater good. I tried to understand Kota's way. I went to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to learn more about my father. I told Kota what happened, facing the Jedi Trials. He called me a Jedi for passing but I felt no different than before."
