Undoubtedly times they didn't know what they were talking about? Svetlana knew for certain there had been times when she and Anatoly got into a round of off the wall comments and quips and she had no idea just where they came from. Yet just like how they could read a chess board in ways no one else did, to converse via pieces of a game and understand the meanings even as they changes, so could the two follow an obscure reference and turn it into a light hearted conversation that really made no sense whatsoever. Of course, being together for thirteen years certainly helped in the regard. Eight if they were basing it strictly off of the time they'd been an actual couple and not with the five years of ever growing distance and then year apart.
As Anatoly 'admitted' to most likely imagining the snakes, Svetlana smirked in victory as she placed her cup of tea down.
"As I thought."
And then their conversation seemed to veer away from teasing quips and off handed comments about Greek Mythology and into something normal families did here.
"That may be a good idea..." Of course, with the Josh Groban look a like issue on top of the crazy this place seemed to bring about at random, planning an outing would be difficult. Still, she knew the girls would love a chance to spend more time with their father in a way that wasn't just them doing things in the complex or going to the park so it was definitely something to consider.
