Thankfully for Svetlana, Anatoly's arrival kept the guy from bothering her some more. Because really, she was getting rather annoyed. While her expression remained neutral, the blond was actually trying not to verbally rip into the idiot. There was only so much stupidity she could take and as she didn't have her brothers here to be intimidating and scare him off, Svetlana was mostly left to her own devices. Or Anatoly could show up and hand her her tea. Smiling up slightly in thanks, the blond then just quirked a brow at Anatoly trying to be intimidating.
Trying not to laugh as it would ruin the weak attempt at intimidation, Svetlana just smirked and sipped her tea as the guy looked up in shock.
"Of course, you married a Josh Groban look alike."
Rolling her eyes, Svetlana placed the tea down before addressing the idiot yet again.
"Yet we have been married for ten years, so who he looks like has nothing to do with it. You can leave now even though you should have kept walking in the first place."
Quirking a brow as the guy muttered about upstart Russians and how Svetlana was clearly missing out on his supposed prowess, Svetlana rolled her eyes and looked back to Anatoly and shook her head some.
"You really are far from intimidating, you know this, right?"
Smirking again, Svetlana placed her book in her bag, relaxing now that it was just here and Anatoly and not some creep trying to make the moves on her. But the guy was gone so there was that, at least.
"I appreciate the sentiment, though."
Nothing about the effectiveness as it had been so far from effective. But it had been a sweet gesture. Some might say he was trying to lay his claim on her, but Anatoly knew better than to try that with Svetlana as she would call him on it. They both knew that when it came to attempts like this? Svetlana was more than able to handle herself.
