Irene Adler ([info]makethembeg) wrote in [info]wariscoming,
"Lee....your partner?" She had never understood that type of devotion to a single person. Yes, she'd had Kate for a while, but she was useful. Fun, too. But not a necessity. A wish wouldn't be wasted on bringing her here. "Still though, fortuitous timing, to get something like that, even if you couldn't have him" She wondered idly what she would have wished for. So many possibilities.

"Half demon, half something child. Wonderful if they're happy, I suppose" she shrugged noncommittally. She didn't press on the Damon topic, Lexi clearly didn't want to elaborate. And Irene was growing to like the girl (350 or not, she was still a girl) enough to decide not to press her. She'd have to find out more at some point, though...how could she resist knowing about the man who killed her?

"Badge and gun? Just a little bit protective then I take it.." She could appreciate that though. Shoes made a woman.

Three pairs of trousers, two blouses and several dresses later she emerged from the dressing room. All but one thing - a high waisted pair of slacks, so deep purple they were almost black - got returned to the rails, and she discreetly paid cash from the small clutch she was carrying.

Looking happier already she turned to Lexi and smiled genuinely. "Where to next?"
