However fast the person actually approached, it felt like an eternity to Kimberly. She was mostly just glad, though, that they'd been able to actually hear her. When he — okay, it was a he but it wasn't Connor; she managed to make that much out — knelt down beside her, she tried very hard to focus on him. He said his name was Victor and the name might've rung a bell if she'd been a little more with it. He'd known her name, though, so she assumed either he was a friend of Connor's or she'd talked to him on the forum at some point. It was hard to make out his face, though, when there were three of them blurring into one another, as far as she could tell and that made her stomach turn uncomfortably. "I don't know," she admitted weakly. "I couldn't see. There was a woman, though..." she started before she'd closed her eyes.
Very slowly, she shook her head, trying to ignore the searing pain that came from the movement. "Not sleepy," she told him. "The lights," she added, very carefully lolling her head to the side and wincing before her eyes fluttered open again, only really able to see his knees. Kimberly took a deep breath and gasped at the sensation that came with it. Whether she'd been punched in the gut or whether the discomfort came from her fall after being thrown into the monument, she wasn't sure, but it hurt all the same, either way. Groaning slightly, Kimberly swallowed thickly against her upset stomach, giving it a moment to settle before she went on. "Okay," she finally agreed. She didn't think, actually, she'd be able to get there on her own anyway. "There were lots of them...but only one talked, and I couldn't see," she told him, letting out a huff as she reached her broken hand up for him, tears springing to her eyes without her even noticing. She was trying to help, however she could, for him to lift her.
"Is Jess..." she paused and closed her eyes again, setting her jaw against a new wave of pain when she tried to move her head again. "Is Jess in there now? Can you...um, can you get Connor Temple?" she finished. "I tried to...but they broke my phone. That's...he's my boyfriend; he'll want to know where I am."
