Emma gave a simple shrug to his question. How should she know if there was anyone he'd know? "It's possible, but I wouldn't say likely? Some people run into people they know here. Some of them, like me, don't know anyone." Which was fine by her. The fewer people who knew her and her past, the better. "Don't rule it out, though, the seal thing grabs people at random, looks like."
Very kind. Well. Those were words rarely used to describe her. Except by Ruby, occasionally, and she usually put it more as "bitchin' nice". And Henry. But, well, he had a misplaced sense of hero worship. Which was still taking some getting used to. Oh, how quickly the mighty could fall, and she was so scared she would.
She only hesitated for a moment, though. The case wasn't going anywhere. Churches on Sundays were busy places, it wasn't like the employees were going anywhere for a while. Sometimes they were there all day. Which was a little weird. "Yeah, well, tell you what, follow me. It's only a couple of blocks away." Easy enough, right? "You'll need one of those necklaces to prevent demon possession, cause yeah, that's a real enough thing around here." Though she hadn't seen it yet. Weird. "And you'll probably want to look into getting some identification. Since, you know, here you don't actually exist."
