Dawn wasn't a trained witch and this wasn't her world. There was so much against her with this and she was still willing to try. That gave Ruby her answer right away about whether she'd help. It still felt more than a little like betraying Lindsey. And she didn't like Angel. Or Angelus. Or whoever he decided he was that day, Lindsey had shared too much with her for her to ever trust him. And things hadn't always been easy with Dawn, or her sister for that matter. But she knew what had to be done. Angelus was hurting people, and Ruby was who she was now. She knew it was right. And Dawn had assured her the spell itself wasn't dangerous to her or the baby she carried so it was good enough.
It might be all kinds of dangerous for Dawn though.
"I'm ready." she told the girl. "Now remember, be clear. Pronounce every word, every single one. Don't let it control you, you're calling the magics, you're holding all of this together so I want you keep that in mind the whole way through. There'll be power, there'll be a soul falling through into this world and souls, they have power. They have a lot of power. It needs to be where its supposed to be and that's in the moron. I prefer getting to blame him for stuff as Angel anyway. I have a couple of messages to give him from Lindsey." she added with a smile.
That said she nodded once to Dawn and lowered her eyes to the Latin on the page.
"Quod perditum est, invenietur." Return the lost. It made sense. Ruby, black eyed now as the magic began to take hold around them, wafted the smoke from the burning herbs toward Dawn in her circle and waited. It was up to the girl now.
