Rolling her eyes playfully, Kimberly grinned. "No thanks. That guy's got a harem the size of Jupiter and I don't wanna be another notch in the TARDIS," she joked. It was only half-true. Kimberly could see herself with someone like the Doctor; like Connor. But, she couldn't see herself with the Doctor, ever. He was a nice guy and it was really cool that he could travel in time and space, but she wasn't attracted to him and even if she had been...Connor was smart in an endearing and impressive way. The Doctor was brilliant in an intimidating way. There was no contest for her. Connor trumped the Doctor.
Connor's remark about her suggestion to play made Kimberly laugh. "That's the most epic kind. Just keep in mind, if you beat me, your princess will be in another castle," she teased. At his declaration of their title and his subsequent disgust with the way it sounded, Kimberly laughed again and took one of his hands in hers, giving it a squeeze. "A little, but I like the title, too," she admitted.
But then Connor handed her the box and though her cheeks colored slightly when he called her beautiful, she wrinkled her nose and frowned. "Aw man, that's so unfair," she whined, taking the game and starting to pick at the plastic wrapping with her fingernails. Once she'd freed it, she handed it over to him again. "Don't be jealous of my mad skills," she warned. "Let's do this; game on."
