Kimberly's smile softened. Connor was adorable and he had no idea just how much so, she could see. It was endearing. "Well, it looks awesome," she said with genuine honesty. It was actually kind of impressive, the amount of care it looked like he had taken to make his place fit the season.
When he brought up presents, Kimberly shrugged non-commitally. It was more important to her that she got to spend time with him, but she'd brought his gift down, in any case, so she held it up. "Whatever you wanna do," she replied easily, "I'm good with either." She hoped he'd like it. It had taken her a long time to decide what to get him because, as it turned out, she really didn't think she knew Connor as well as she'd thought she had and shopping for him had made that abundantly clear. That was something she intended to remedy as quickly as possible.
It was at that point that she realized she didn't really know, other than the midnight kiss, what they were planning on doing. Her go-to was always Mario Kart. She knew he enjoyed it as much as she did, but something told her offering it up as a suggestion wouldn't be the best idea. It didn't exactly set the mood, after all, and she didn't know if he had anything planned that he hadn't mentioned to her yet.
