Mel had...some sort of semblance of a routine. Sort of. She'd settled into her life here since her husband had gotten back. Not that things happening were anywhere near normal anymore. Adam was only part of the guy he used to be. He seemed to spend more time hiding now than anything else. She had little to no choice but to just let things be, let him do what he needed to do, and give him the space that he needed. Hopefully, doing that would let him find some semblance of normal back. It hadn't happened yet, but no one could blame a girl for hoping y'know? Either way, it was quickly approaching the Christmas season. Not only did she have to get people things, but she had normal runs to make too.
Today it was the Christmas shopping that had her out. She was better prepared to be out by herself than she ever had been before. She not only had her own powers, she also had been taught what she needed to know about hunting from that little group thing Sam and Dean had arranged. She could handle herself, which was exactly why she was out at the moment.
Mel had gotten a few things, she had bags on both arms at the moment. She could have driven if she wanted to, but she hadn't wanted to. Walking was good for you, but apparently today was the wrong day to choose the healthy method of transportation. Mel had just rounded a corner, heading for home, when there was a sudden shout at her from an alley. The short woman automatically stopped, turning to look at the direction of the voice. Who the hell was yelling at her? The diminutive witch had her hands free, just in case she needed to stall things for a few moments, but the person that yelled at her definitely didn't look like the type of person a smart demon would pick.
She had....blue hair and looked off. She didn't quite look human at the moment. So, Mel felt pretty confident about what came out of her mouth. "I probably have answers. You look like you just got dropped here." How did she manage to find people like this....or rather how did they manage to find her so often.
