Who: Ariel and Abby What: Cheering people up is what Abby does best, and Ariel is in need of some. When: Morning of December 5th (slightly backdated!) Where: Various places in Lawrence Warnings: Rated D for Disney.
As per usual, Abby only got a handful of hours of sleep. Mostly it was thanks to the massive amounts of caffeine consumed while working the current case she was working on and keeping her lab in order as the evidence was processed bit by bit. But it was also in part due to the fact she was incredibly upset that people had gone and made Ariel upset. It just seemed wrong to make someone as sweet as her upset. Not to mention the fact she was a fairy tale character famously captured onscreen by Disney only made it worse. But despite the abbreviated sleep, Abby was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as always. It was fairly normal for her to only get a few hours sleep anyways. She could sleep when she was dead after all. After doing her morning routine and dressing in her usual goth style, which today consisted of a spiked choker, black pants with a few chains criss-crossing behind her legs, short sleeved black shirt with a red skull and crossbones on it, and her usual pigtails, she headed down to the lobby to wait for Ariel to come down.
Her mind kept drifting to what she'd do if she saw Kon in person. Most of those trains of thoughts didn't go down paths lined with sunshine and rainbows. She was upset, but she was going to keep that to herself. There was no sense in Ariel getting even more worked up about it than she all ready was. Besides, Abby needed to cheer her up and spend the day doing fun things, not dwelling on not-so-nice things.
"Stay focused, Abigail. Day of fun!" She had quite the tendency to talk to herself when no one else was around. "It's too bad it's winter otherwise a carnival would be perfect right now. But there's other things to do. Oh! Perhaps stopping by the mall because Santa's there. Ariel would like learning about Santa, if she hasn't all ready." Abby grinned a bit, pacing slightly mostly as she was getting excited now. This was an exciting time of year, after all. When there was enough snow, she'd definitely show Ariel how to build snowmen and snow forts and such. Yes, this was definitely going to be a good day. And today Ariel would have a good word of the day. Which Abby had yet to decide what exactly that word was. But it would be good!
