Who:Bart and Kon
What:Brain melting, new friend meeting
When: shortly after Allanas post.
Where:Bart's room
Warnings:no idea
It felt like everything was going a million miles an hour and he couldn't catch up. For him being one of the fastest kids in the world it was an unpleasant feeling. He didn't know which direction to go. Clark was hurt by Darcy's sudden disappearance which scared him. Still he wanted to be there for his friend, more then friend really. He looked up to Clark like a brother or a mentor, to see him in that amount of pain was unsettling to say the least. Then there was Allana. Lucifer had done something to her, he was sure of it. The devil said all he did was talk, but devils and demons lied. Kon knew that. He wasn't exactly reassured by his reply. In reality the fact that he had replied at all was unnerving. So in all today was not the best day ever.
Yet there he was making the trek down toward Not Bart's room. What was he even going to say to him? Should he say anything? This Bart was probably different then his just like the last Clark had been. And Tess, and Oliver before her. What was with the seal? It was like every time he almost hoped for something good from it everything turned out backwards. He was tired of hoping. Very little good came from Kansas, he should have known that by now. The only good he did have felt like it was slipping away just out of reach and causing a downright internal panic. He blew it off well enough with snide jokes and empty humor that came out more cruel then he'd intended. To say he'd been taking the last few days well would have been the understatement of the year.
Then there was Bart. He was hoping that was going to be his one ray of goodness in the suckfest that was Kansas. Bart didn't even know him. It hurt. He knew he got on just fine with the other alternates of his friends, but was it so wrong to want just one that actually knew him? Apparently it was. The seal didn't want to give him even one little break. He was feeling mentally drained and upset by the time he arrived at Bart's door, but he tried not to show it and knocked.
