She was nervous about going in alone. Sam could tell and he didn't blame her one bit. Sure, she had weirded him out a little bit by telling him all those details about herself in one go, but that didn't change the fact that the poor woman was nervous and possibly frightened. Sam rubbed a hand across his jaw and peered out the window. Then he cast a quiet glance down at his watch. Not too late. He supposed he could spare a little bit of time before continuing on. Reaching down to unbuckle his seatbelt, Sam cut the engine off and pushed his door open.
"I'll come with you," he offered, shooting Chloe a warm smile. "We'll get what you need and head back. I'll make sure you get around safely, I promise." The difference between himself and Chloe was that he had a lifetime of practice on her. That and, of course, the fact that he could exorcise demons with his mind. Throw them around a bit, too, even though that was currently sort of being worked on still.
Ducking out of the Impala, Sam slid the keys into his pocket and locked the door behind himself. Dean would slaughter him alive if he somehow managed to get his precious baby stolen away. "And everything is on me," Sam said, moving around to greet Chloe as soon as she emerged from her own side of the vehicle, "you're new here. You need to save your money." His money wasn't really his anyway. Ah, living off of credit card scams. Good times.
